The International Institute of IT & Consulting (IIITC)

PECB Authorized Training Provider

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 17 August 2026

Overview

IIITC (International Institute of IT & Consulting, “IIITC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through iitcinternational.com and store.iitcinternational.com (together, the “Site”), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to visitors, prospective students, enrolled students, corporate clients, and advisor-call bookers.

By using the Site, booking an advisor call, enrolling in a course, or otherwise providing personal information to IIITC, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information as described in this Policy, consistent with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically as you browse, and information received from third parties who help us operate the Site and deliver certifications.

  • Contact and identity information: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and language preference (English or French), collected when you book an advisor call, submit an enquiry, or create a store account.

  • Enrollment and certification information: Course selections, delivery format (E-Learning, Self-Study, or Live Online), employer or organization name (for corporate enrollments), and information required by PECB to issue and register your certification.

  • Payment information: Processed by our third-party payment processor at checkout. IIITC does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers.

  • Advisor call details: The notes, background, and goals you share with an IIITC advisor during a free consultation, used to recommend an appropriate program.

  • Newcomer program information: Where relevant to program fit, information about immigration status, prior credentials, and work history that you choose to share with an advisor.

  • Corporate training information: Organization name, size, industry, and the business contact details of the individual requesting a quote or consultation on behalf of their organization.

  • Technical and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referral source, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

  • Communications: Records of emails, webinar or event registrations, and any support correspondence with IIITC.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for purposes you would reasonably expect given the context in which you provided it, including to:

  • Respond to enquiries and deliver the advisor-call service, including recommending certification, newcomer, consulting, or corporate programs suited to your goals

  • Process course enrollments and payments, and issue PECB exam vouchers and certifications through the PECB registry

  • Communicate with you about your enrollment, upcoming Live Online cohort dates, exam results, and account status

  • Send marketing communications (newsletters, webinar invitations, blog content) where you have consented to receive them, with an unsubscribe option in every message

  • Prepare and deliver corporate training proposals, quotes, and custom program design for organizational clients

  • Improve the Site, our course offerings, and our marketing based on aggregated, de-identified usage patterns

  • Meet legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations, and detect or prevent fraud

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

3. How We Share Your Information

IIITC discloses personal information only where necessary to operate the Site and deliver your program, and always subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards:

  • PECB (Professional Evaluation and Certification Board): Enrollment and identity information necessary to register your exam, issue your certification, and list you on PECB's official verification registry

  • Payment processors: To complete store transactions securely; IIITC does not have access to your full card details

  • Service providers: Email delivery, scheduling/calendar tools, learning management systems, and website hosting providers, each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations

  • Legal and safety purposes: Where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IIITC, our students, or the public

  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same privacy commitments described here

We do not share advisor-call notes, immigration status, or other sensitive information with any party outside the delivery of your program without your explicit consent.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the store cart and login sessions functioning, to remember your language preference (English/French), to measure Site performance and page engagement, and (where you consent) for marketing and retargeting purposes.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site, such as the course store or advisor-booking calendar, from working correctly.

5. Data Storage, Security, and International Transfers

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting, email, or scheduling tools) may store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to require providers to maintain a comparable level of protection to that required under Canadian privacy law.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to maintain your certification and enrollment history for PECB verification purposes, to meet tax and accounting record-keeping requirements, and to respond to any future enquiries about your enrollment. Advisor-call notes not connected to an enrollment are retained for and then securely deleted.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to limited exceptions, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information IIITC holds about you

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time, without affecting the delivery of a program you're already enrolled in

  • Ask questions about how your information has been collected, used, or disclosed

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected] or 1422 Wascana Highlands, Regina, SK S4V 2J9. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site and IIITC's programs are intended for adults pursuing professional certification and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Effective date” at the top of this page will be updated accordingly, and material changes will be communicated to enrolled students by email where appropriate.
